TRAINING

Health isn’t a weight or clothing size. It’s a feeling.

OUR FACILITY

We believe that there is no “one size fits all” in fitness and in health. So we use all the tools available to us like boxes, barbells, kettlebells, ropes, tires, rowing and biking machines, dumbbells, pullup rigs, weights and bands.

We are located in the Epic Industrial plaza right on the South Glens Falls side of the Fenimore bridge. Once you enter from the road you will stay right to go around the back side of the building and then find yourself driving on a small road between two big warehouse buildings. Keep trucking and soon about half way down the building on your right you will see a glass door and big metal black and green sign for Outcast Athletics.

WEIGHTLOSS & NUTRITION

All of our coaching and training is geared toward improving the quality of life of the individual. That typically means losing weight and getting stronger. So no worries there, that side of things will take care of itself if you keep showing up. On the nutrition side of things we have a method that we expose all of our members to that is our personal default version of “dieting” but we also can give and do have access to deeper and more personal assistance in the dietetic world.

POWERLIFTING

We offer Powerlifting programming and Coaching through a dedicated growing team of athletes ready to become stronger and more powerful. The training is periodized so that there is a peaking goal in mind, culminating in a strong competition showing. If competing isn’t your thing and you just want to move heavy weight that’s ok too. We are here for that!

CROSS TRAINING

The biggest and best challenge of cross training is understanding the wide variety of demands that the athlete must be able to answer to. We get it and love it. All of the training we perform every day is intelligently varied to touch on the skill bases needed to perform well in the sport of fitness and improve overall capacity. We also offer more in depth personal training session to redefine those skills and bring you to the next level.

YOUTH ATHLETICS

Understanding that our kids are the future is so important to us at OA. Also understanding that fitness has been done wrong and poorly executed for some time now tells us we need to do better. So it all starts with the kids. We make the classes fun and engaging but not overly demanding so that they build a passion for movement and being healthy while being aloud to reinvent themselves every week as their bodies grow and adapt keeping them happy, healthy, strong, injury resistant and most importantly loving the process so they form this as a health habit for life!
